The Eminence in Shadow is a story in which the main character, Sid, usually lives inconspicuously as a mob character, but longs to be the “power behind the scenes” who is active behind the scenes in the story.
One day, he tells an elf he rescued by chance that he is “Shadowgarden,” a shadow garden secretly working to defeat the Diablo cult, in his brain.
Although it was an imaginary story, not only did the elf believe in his own setting, but the Diablo cult was also real.
However, the elf himself is unaware of such a thing, and this is a comedy about a misunderstood serialist who, while truly believing that “such a setting” exists, goes on to defeat the bad guys.
